2nd Advanced EMG Conference
Date: 5th-6th December, 2018
Venue: Royal College of Physicians
Location: 11 Saint Andrews Place, London NW1 4LE
The accomplishment of such a well received Advanced EMG Conference in 2016 prompted Optima to respond to requests to host a second. Excited to announce the return of the 2nd Advanced EMG Conference with Professor Erik Stålberg from the University Hospital, Uppsala, Sweden and Dr Sanjeev Nandedkar from Natus Medical Inc, Wisconsin, US, Optima welcomed 113 delegates back to the historic Royal College of Physicians.
Consultant and Registrar Clinical Neurophysiologists, Clinical Physiologists and Neurologists from the UK and overseas joined together to share the expertise from the faculty. The subjects covered included EMG simulator, motor and sensory action potentials; noise and artefacts, multi-MUP and IP analysis, SF EMG and Macro EMG, integrating EMG and neurography and MUNIX.
The well received combination of both theoretical and practical live demonstrations proved so popular during the first conference that the decision was made to reproduce this format. Delegates were also given the option of attending an informal “ask the experts” session where more specific practical questions could be asked and answered. The active engagement of speakers and delegates during this innovative two-day conference resulted in replication of extremely positive feedback for the conference. The demand for its’ recurrence continues!
